Production Technician Team Leader

Are you looking for a hands‑on leadership role in a fast‑moving, people‑focused production environment? We’re looking for a proactive Team Leader to join our well‑organised Production team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills, support a growing team, and play a key role in delivering high‑quality electro‑mechanical products.
You will work closely with the Production Foreman to ensure high standards of build quality, testing, and output across our product range. This is a hands‑on position, combining technical assembly work and / or testing with day‑to‑day team coordination. You will support a team of technicians, oversee workflow, maintain quality standards, and help drive continuous improvement across the production area. You’ll also act as a key point of contact for the team, ensuring smooth communication, safe working practices, and efficient delivery of the build programme. Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Experienced team leader within a Manufacturing or Production setting.
- Hands‑on experience contributing to daily production activities, ideally involving testing, assembly, or sub‑assembly work.
- Exposure to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and ISO‑aligned working practices.
- Understanding of Health & Safety requirements in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Experience working to tight delivery schedules and managing workload priorities.
- (Desirable) Experience with electro‑mechanical assembly processes.
- (Desirable) Experience in an Engineering, Manufacturing or assembly environment.
- (Desirable) Experience operating a forklift (current valid licence advantageous).
- (Desirable) Experience or qualified on the Seawards HAL 104 Electrical Tester.
